This week, I’m kicking off my official CFB picks. The first two weeks are always feelers and I wasn’t live bullets anyways so he goes nothing.
MIAMI (-11) at Toledo
Miami looked real good winning 77-0 against Sister Marys last week after a bad L to LSU week one. They will continue to roll.
OKLAHOMA (-17.5) at Iowa State
I love this Oklahoma team and think that they will shootout this Iowa State team. Kyler Murray is a special player and won’t be stopped.
Troy at NEBRASKA (-10)
Troy sucks. Go Huskers.
BOISE STATE (+2) at Oklahoma St
Boise State is back and I think they are out for a vengeance going up against an unproven Oklahoma State team. Love the ML at +105 as well.
LSU (+10.5) at Auburn
LSU getting 10.5 is simply too much. These teams are pretty even on paper so I’m surprised the line is more than 3.5. LSU will depend on Joe Burrow to get their defense some support. I like a low scoring game, and I like LSU ML at +340 as well.
Colorado St at Florida (-19.5)
Florida is coming off an embarrassing loss to Kentucky last week, and now get a Colorado State team at home that they WILL be hungry for. I expect them to landslide the Rams.
Alabama (-21) at Ole Miss
21 Points is a lot for Saban and I like this Ole Miss team. They could throw on a young Bama secondary. Whatever happens I love the over. Feels like a shootout to me, even if Bama covers.
Ohio State (-13) at TCU
OSU will be without Urban Meyer but they are still too good a football team to be affected by a prime-time game on the road. TCU on the other hand, can’t handle the big boys like OSU. Love the Bucks.
Washington at Utah (+4.5) ml: +170
I’m not impressed by Washington. I think they are riding the top of the Pac-12 wave which usually crashes hard and fast. The Utes have the #1 defense in the country and I see them keeping it close if not winning, also liking the ML at +170.
ASU (-5.5) at SDSU
Herm Edwards is Back and will not be stopped.
- You play to win the game.
- Leave it on the grass.
Don’t see anything less then a 10 point victory.
Winner Only. BOL.
